Delta Air Lines has a Delta Sky Club located between Gates 2 & 4 on Concourse D.


Charging Stations

There are numerous locations throughout the facility (pre and post security) for you to plug in and charge your phone, tablet or other mobile device.

The Airport has also partnered with Mobile Qubes to provide you the option to rent or buy a qube capable of charging many different devices. Look for Mobile Qubes kiosks located in Baggage Claim and on each Concourse.

Currency Exchange and Business Center (Travelex/Western Union) is open located in the West Terminal near United and Delta Air Lines ticket counters. Their hours of operation are:

Tuesday 5am - 9pm 
Wednesday 7am - 9pm 
Thursday 5am - 9pm 
Friday 7am - 9pm 
Saturday 5am - 9pm
 

Travelex offers foreign currency exchange, travel insurance, photocopies, fax services, and wire money transfers. Western Union provides money transfers, money orders, and emergency cash services to passengers until 8:30 p.m. nightly.


Express Shipping

A drop off box for Federal Express (FEDEX) and United Parcel Service (UPS) is located on the second level of the Main Terminal near the post office in the Concourse A/B Lobby.


Facilities for the Disabled

The entire airport is free of any architectural barriers to the handicapped.
For TTY calls, contact the Louisiana Relay Service by dialing 711 and request 504-303-7700 (Airport Communications).
Visual Paging is available throughout the airport in conjunction with the Flight Information Display Monitors (FIDS).
Designated Smoking Areas
Smoking areas have been designated curbside on both the departures and arrivals levels. Follow the green "Designated Smoking Area" signs.

The top ramp (departures level) designated smoking area is located outside of the main lobby in the center of the top ramp median near the outside lanes.

The bottom ramp (arrivals level) designated smoking areas are located on each side of the terminal.


Financial Services

Whitney Bank is located above the Concourse C Checkpoint in the Parabola Lobby. Services offered include cash advances on credit cards, traveler's checks, money orders, foreign currency exchange, and ATM machines.
Hours of operation are: 

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (closed)

ATM machines are located throughout the terminal, pre and post security.


Lost and Found

Be sure to check out our Lost and Found page which will allow to search the items that have been turned in. The Customer Service Department retains items that have been lost in the public areas of the terminal (with the exception of the concourse checkpoints operated by the Transportation Security Administration[TSA]). The office is located on the Upper Level in the Concourse C Lobby near the Airport Police. Lost and Found is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. You can contact them at (504) 303-7790.

Unclaimed items that have been turned in to Lost and Found are donated to charity after 3 years.

Persons losing items in the airline exclusive areas (i.e. ticket counters, gate areas, or airplanes) should check with that particular airline's baggage office located in the Baggage Claim area.

For items that may have been left at the security checkpoints, please contact the TSA Lost and Found at 504-463-2251. Passengers can expect a next business day response from TSA.


Louisiana Tax-Free Shopping for International Travelers

Louisiana Tax Free Shopping is designed to promote international tourism in Louisiana by giving a refund on sales taxes at participating merchants. It applies to those who can show a foreign passport, an international travel ticket and who will be in the country for less than 90 days. Most shops in the airport have tax free shopping as well as selected businesses throughout the city. Refunds or further information can be obtained at Tax Free Counter located near the exit of Concourse C. For more information contact them at (504) 467-0723 (Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Mother's Rooms

These rooms are available for nursing mothers to utilize when traveling to and from the Airport. Each room has comfortable seating, an end table, a changing table, and appropriately placed electrical outlets. One Mother's Room is provided on each concourse post-security. Please visit the concourse maps for specific locations.


Police Station

The Airport Police Station is located on the second level in the Concourse C Lobby near Dunkin Donuts.


Post Office

The United States Post Office is located in the Ticket Lobby near the Concourse A/B Lobby. This is for drop off only. 


Service Animal Relief Areas

Armstrong International offers a Service Animal Relief Area in front of the east and west sides of the Short Term Parking Garage. Exit through Baggage Claim near Bag Belts 12-14 or near Bag Belt 1 and walk across.


Smoking Areas

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the airport terminal by state law. There are designated smoking locations on the upper and lower ramps outside the terminal.

Free Wi-Fi Access Offered at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport 

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport offers free Wi-Fi (wireless Internet service), making travel easier by enabling airport visitors to stay connected to their home or office.
 
Use wireless-enabled portable electronics to surf the web, send and receive e-mail, and access corporate networks in 85 percent of the airport terminal's main level, which includes most gates, sitting areas and food courts. Wi-Fi access is also available through Boingo on Concourse B in the food court area between Gates B5 and B7 and on Concourse D at Gates D7-D12.

Airport travelers can get real-time flight arrival and departure updates from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport Web site, www.flymsy.com, browse information about the retail and restaurant offerings in the airport, and get the latest travel tips.

To access the wireless network at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, ensure that you are on the main terminal/departure level of the terminal.

Set the wireless card properties to the default configuration or DHCP-enabled.

Select "LANOIA_FREE_WIFI" as the wireless network under Wireless Network Connection or the appropriate network configuration application in your operating system.

Start your web browser and at the Splash Page click on the "Click to Continue" link to accept the terms and conditions of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Click on the "click HERE to continue to the internet" link to access the Internet


Virtual Private Network (VPN) Access

The wireless network at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport supports most VPN clients. To establish a VPN connection simply access any public website through your web browser. You will be prompted to accept the AUP by clicking on the "Click to Continue" Link. At the next webpage click on the "click HERE to continue to the internet" link to access the Internet. At this point, start your VPN client software and it should function as expected.
